Usage
You agree to read and abide by the Accepted Usage Policy published on web-hosting-buddy's web site.

Prices
1) The prices for our standard services are displayed in Sterling on our Prices web page.
2) If you are ordering from outside the UK you will be billed the price shown in US$. First we convert the price in US$ to Sterling as per the exchange rate displayed online at the E-Forex web site on the day we receive your order. Then we debit your credit card at the converted rate in Sterling. Finally your credit card company converts this amount back to the currency of your credit card. Inevitably there may be a small variation in the amount you pay due to a) currency fluctuations and b) the exchange rate standard used by the credit card company.

Additional Bandwidth
If your site is exceptionally busy in terms of server load (for example if you offer file downloads from your site and this service is very popular!), you may exceed the 5Gb monthly traffic allowance. When this happens we will charge additional traffic at the rate of £3/Gbyte/per month.

Renewals
1) You will receive notification of automatic renewal 14 days prior to the next renewal date. If you wish to continue your subscription you need do nothing. We will debit your credit card at the price in force at the date of renewal for the continuing subscription.
2) If we have difficulty in processing the credit card payment - for example if the information we have is out of date -we will contact you to rectify the problem. However if after a period of 14 days we are still unable to resolve the situation we reserve the right to cancel the subscription.

Termination
1) If you wish to end your subscription please provide us with one month's notice in writing (by email, fax or by letter). If your are paid up beyond the effective cancellation date, we will be happy to refund any full unused months.
2) web-hosting-buddy reserves the right to terminate accounts where the Terms and Conditions or Accepted Usage Policy are being flouted. In extreme cases - and at the sole discretion of web-hosting-buddy - termination will be immediate and without warning. Reinstatement We require a set up charge of £45 (72 US$) to reinstate accounts that have been terminated for whatever reason.

Billing
1) web-hosting-buddy does not offer credit accounts and all services are billed and paid for in advance.
2) Whether you order quarterly, six monthly or annual billing, the accounting date is always taken to be the first of the month without exception.
3) web-hosting-buddy is a trading name of Small Green Tree Ltd and it is the latter name that you will see on your credit card statement.

Security
1) You are responsible for all use of your accounts and the confidentiality of your passwords. Should you feel that your password has become compromised you should contact us immediately. web-hosting-buddy will suspend the account or change access permission upon notification that your password has been stolen, lost, or otherwise possibly compromised.
2) You are solely responsible for the maintenance, integrity and security of the data you store on web-hosting-buddy's system. We strongly recommend that you do not store files that are important to you without ensuring that you have adequate backups in your possession.
3) web-hosting-buddy does not undertake to provide you with any special Internet security other than the password protection of FTP or Telnet access to your files. In agreeing to these terms and conditions you accept that this level of security may well not be appropriate for confidential and private information. In the case of such information you are solely responsible for ensuring that the data is suitably protected, for example by encryption, digital signatures and so on.

Force Majuere
web-hosting-buddy's performance under this agreement is subject to interruption and delay due to causes beyond its reasonable control such as acts of God, acts of any government, war or other hostility, civil disorder, the elements, fire, explosion, power failure, equipment failure, industrial or labour disputes, inability to obtain necessary supplies and the like.

Limitation of Reliability
web-hosting-buddy exercises no control whatsoever over the content of the information accessed through web-hosting-buddy's Internet Services. web-hosting-buddy's Internet Services are provided on an ""as-is, as-available"" basis, without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the warranties of performance, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. web-hosting-buddy and/or contributors shall have no liability whatsoever to you for any claim(s) relating in any way to (i) your inability or failure to perform research or related work or to work properly or completely, or (ii) any lost profits or consequential, exemplary, incidental, indirect or special damages relating in whole or in part to your rights hereunder or use of, or inability to use, web-hosting-buddy's Internet Services. web-hosting-buddy will not be responsible for any damage suffered by you, including, but not limited to, loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, mis-deliveries, or service interruptions caused by its own negligence or your errors or omissions. Use of any information obtained via web-hosting-buddy's Internet Services is at your sole risk. web-hosting-buddy specifically disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of information obtained through web-hosting-buddy's Internet Services. Under no circumstances and under no legal theory, tort, contract, or otherwise, shall web-hosting-buddy or its suppliers or resellers be liable to you or any other person for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any character including, without limitation, damages for loss of goodwill, work- stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all other commercial damages or losses.
